how to make 400m standard track

IAAF  400 meters standard track 

To making  IAAF 400 meters standard track is very technical work  so take concentration. 400 meters standard track consist of 2 curves and 2 straights (means 2 straight lines and 2 curve lines) with a ratio of 2:3(2 is for  straight lines and 3 is for curve means a standard track divided into 5 equal parts then 2 parts are straight lines and 3 parts is for curve  lines still not understand OK it means 40 %  area covered by straight lines and 60 % area covered by curve lines well below will be clear to you

To make  standard 400m standard track follow these below steps.


Ratio will be 2:3

Step 1.  Divide 400/5 =    80
now we have gotten   (80+80+      80+80+80) ratio 2:3
                                  lines            curves

step 2.  now plus straight and curves
           straights    80+80= 160   and curves 80+80+80= 240
              straights lines = 160 and curves = 240

step 3  now understand to one important thing that for making standard track we have to need 2 curve area and 2 straight so we will divide both values with 2 so we will get 2 equal lines and curves for track because we have need 4 equal parts

              straight 160 / 2 = 80 is one line
              curve     240 / 2 = 120 is one curve
To get diameter and radius follow these below steps 

Step 1 divide curve value with pi value 3.1416
            240 / 3.1416 =
         Answer   = 76.394 meters     ( diameter of 400 m standard track )
step 2 divide  diameter 76.394 meters  with 2
         Answer    = 38.197           ( Radius of 400 m standard track )


step 3 finally we will reduce the ruining radius from radius which is 0.30
   
            Answer  =38.197-0.30=37.897
